The Invitations
Invites are ordered and arrived! It took FI and I a long time to pick out invites we both liked. He wanted something more traditional and I wanted something fun and modern. Originally we thought about doing it ourselves, and printing them from a friend's computer, but I put the brakes on that. I just didn't think I had the time and I didn't really trust FI to do it! I did a lot of research and in the end we decided on these from Wedding Paper Divas. All things considered, they were not that expensive (I don't think anyway) and I absolutely LOVE them. I think they really give people the feel of our wedding.
My sister graciously agreed to do the calligraphy for us, which is AWESOME. She's doing both the address and return address on all the invites (about 65) and so far has done a great job. The RSVP date is May 14th and we'll send them out the end of April (earlier for my out-of-the-country relatives). The reception card includes our wedding website, and the response card looks better (lines are removed and everything is lined up properly) IRL.
